September Open Studio: Come One, Come All and Create!!!


Hi Creative Friends,

Come join us for September Open Studio on Saturday, September 15th from 1-4pm.  We will be starting a little later this month.  I have a meeting until 1pm, and will then join up with you! 

Open Studio is a community of artists and creatives of all kinds and all ages who create together. Everyone is welcome...invite your friends, kids, neighbors, enemies, etc.

Saturday, September 15th (3rd Saturday)

The Block - part of Lakeside Church Campus
755 Oak Avenue Parkway
Folsom, CA 95630

Bring your own materials on Saturday whatever they may be - paints, pencils, paper, music, guitar, dancing shoes, camera, computer, clay, etc. We always have some materials (and snacks!) to share as well. There is no cost and no need to RSVP. All that is required is a willingness to contribute to the safe and encouraging creative time and space for your fellow artists and creative types.

Judy Verderame has opened an awesome ceramic studio in the heart of Old Town Folsom!

Redemption Garden Review by Stephanie Benedict

Redemption Garden has blossomed at the SMUD Art Gallery!

P.S.  We just had our opening reception for "Redemption Garden" at the SMUD Art Gallery last Thursday, and it was a water bottle cutting success!  We will likely have some photos and video to share from the reception on Saturday; please feel free to bring your pictures, videos and memories to share if you were there as well. 

It was so neat to see people get excited about the water bottle flowers.  Some people made their own water bottle flowers and even added them to the display!!

Open Studio Artists' "Redemption Garden" at SMUD Art Gallery is A Must See

A team of Open Studio Artists and Suzy Vose from the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission set out to install "Redemption Garden" at the SMUD Art Gallery on Friday, June 8th. The building and the artwork are incredibly complementary! Come see for yourself! The show runs from June 11th - July 31st, and it is a must see.
